Sven B. Schreiber (sbs) Kevin Edward, who is himself an outstanding singer-songwriter, reignited my dormant interest in the unique song repertoire of Conor Oberst and his band "Bright Eyes". The solo album "Ruminations" was released in 2016, comprising ten unplugged recordings, featuring him on vocals, piano, guitar, and harmonica. In this reduced setting, the high quality of his songwriting shines to the max. This "Expanded Edition" from 2021 adds five more songs to the list, making the album even more worthwhile. Favorite track: Next of Kin.

I’m around Conor Oberst age. I remember when this album came out. Just like all of Conor Oberst projects I aged and grew with them . Each album teleports me back to a certain point in my life bringing to life those emotions and memories. Laura Laurent I could carry through time for a long time and Let’s not Shit Ourselves still relates todays society. Oh my Gosh The Azure Ray cover!!!! saved1982
